MY DAILY DIARY
I have followed a long time family tradition passed down from mother, to daughter, and down to grandaughter. I have kept a daily diary for years. I threw out a couple. I hate the thought of doing that now. I thought when I threw them out I had written too intimate details of our family. Now, I know I could have recorded the historical data then destroyed wht I didn't want read. I always get five year diaries, I enjoy it the most on the fifth year because as I record each day I can look back to the years before and read what I did. This year is the third year for this diary. What is amazing is the fact I had a hard time finding a five year diary. I bought one and now I am in the third year. Should I have been brave and bought another one? There is usually someone that wants to know something and I can usually find the answer in a diary. I hope someone continues to do this. It has been asked "who gets the diaries?" I have thought of this and it was a frustrating decision but what I have decided to do is to donate them to the Genealogy Society. That way anyone can read them and they will be available to anyone who wants to take the time to go there. These are the diaries of NELLIE GROVES BAILEY.....BUELAH BAILEY ROHRER....and SHIRLEY ROHRER MILLER.
