HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

I remember the year 2000 when it was feared all the modern technology would not  go into the the new century without causing problems, Then on Dec 21st,2012  some feared the end of the civilization because of the Mayan Calendar. Now we have ventured into 2013. At our house we had beef and cabbage to insure we would be financially secure for the coming year. Do I really believe that is why we have lived comfortably for years.No, I have told this story for many years. we believe in Tithing and giving beyond the tithe. Tithing is giving 10% of your income to God. It states in the Bible that it is really His and we are just following His instructions by giving it back. I have heard people say "We can't afford to tithe"  I answer that with this comment "Try it for one year and see what God will do!"
