I selected this picture to illustrate a decision Harvey and I have made. When I was named first place winner in the Mother of The Year Contest on ciliving.tv I was given a stay at the French Lick Hotel for two days with several other things included. After giving it careful thought we decided we cannot take that trip. We are both almost 80 years old. Since Harvey has had a massive heart attack and now has a heart pacemaker and a diffibulater we do not think it is wise to go that far away from Carle Hospital in Urbana and Harveys cardiologist. So, we declined the trip. We enjoyed meeting so many of the people we see daily on Channel 3 and we know we will remember for a long time the gesture and the friendliness . We thank Drew for his trip to Westville and Danville to get the story. I wouldn't want to forget to thank Tuck for the nomination letter he sent in.I enjoyed my time of fame and all the comments from my Facebook friends.
