Together again ! Sylvia Jane Peterson Miller stepped into Heaven today and joined so many she loved. Among those were her little daughter Freda Jane Miller who died in an accident on Sep 1st ,1952 along with her grandfather Andrew Peterson.One year later Fred's dad Rev Goebel Miller left for his Heavenly home. Fred's step mother LULA ALICE PURVIS MILLER died Aug 17,1992.Fred's biological mother died when he was four months old.When Fred's dad and Lula Alice were married in Aug 1923 she became the only "MOM" Fred knew. Jane's mom Elsie Peterson lived with Fred and Jane for several years before her death. Last year Rev Frederick Alden Miller died on Feb 10th. I first met Fred and Jane in March 1952 when Harvey took me to Huntington, Indiana where Fred was a pastor of a country church.Fred performed the ceremony for Harvey and I on Aug 17th 1952 with Harvey's dad assisting with prayer.. Fred said"with two preachers the knot will stay tied" He also didn't charge us and let the interest accumulate.We visited them several times at different places in the mid-west and places west of here. The Log Cabin church in Boise Idaho was a delightful place. In one church Fred was giving the benediction his first service in the church when he asked the Lord to forgive "our short comings" . He heard several snickers and found out later that there was a man in the church whose last name was Cummings and he was a short man.MEMORIES ARE GODS GIFT THAT DEATH CANNOT DESTROY
