May 8th, a bittersweet day for our family. Uppermost in our minds was the fact it was Brendas birthday. I knew that when I invited my descendants to attend an event for Ladies at First Assembly of God. This is a picture taken by a friend JOY DILL who sat at a table near us. In the picture from left to right are Grandaughter MandyTabels and her daughters Sarah Beth, and Emmy, Granddaughter Beckie Jo Cardoza , Makia and Grandma Channa and Granddaughter Jan Owen (Makias mom) and then Grammy Sammy. When we got home Tuck called and he said we are to be on Channel 3 at 4:00PM to 5:00PM Friday. He nominated me for MOTHER OF THE YEAR and we would be interviewed as I was one of five women chosen.So we plan to tape it so we can watch it when we get home Friday night.
