Being a female I guess I can't understand the love affairs males have with their cars.We have a new car. It is a pretty white one. He says it will probably be the last car he will buy. The only thing that confuses me is the fact we have its twin parked in the garage. "Oh, no" says hubby."That's a 2001. The new one is 2005" I almost choked when I saw the price tag in the glove compartment. $30,000. Oh,but by the time the wheeling and dealing is over and the trade is figured in he got it for a little over$15,000. Of course we don't make payments or pay finances or interest. We take it out of our savings. That is okay with me. If he wanted to buy a helicopter or a giraffe that would be fine with me. As far as I am concerned he can buy anything he chooses to buy. He worked many hours in the day, year after year and was a good provider for me and the kids.He uses his time and his money well. he always tells me "If you want something, go get it. We can't take our money with us." One day I told him I was going to Walden Books.'He said "Fine" He thought I was going to buy a book. I laughed and said' You said I could buy anything I wanted. I am going to buy the store"
I DIDN"T . My philosophy; Don't ruin a good thing !
