DOWNSIZING

I chose blue for this blog because the subject makes me feel a little blue. We are downsizing and I am carting things out of my office first because that is the place I "collect" the most.Harvey has always said he was glad that my office had a door on it that he could make sure was closed. I have genealogy papers, Ridgeview Baptist History, Macedonia Ministry materials,(Harvey and I were involved in that for a long time. ) I am tossing the AM TRACK trains schedules.I have a huge bookcase I would not part with. It was a gift from Harvey when he was working on a Moving van when we lived on Franklin street in Danville. I have home movie tapes that I will distribute among family members. The list goes on and on. This is not an easy task. At least my family are not shy about asking if I am going to give away certain items. I have Smiley Faces that I offered my granddaughter Tabitha first because she and her mother bought most of them. Tuck and Evelyn have asked for my angels and they will get them all except for my one "retired"angel She is a gray haired angel.Billie Jo asked about a table she likes. I have lots more "stuff" to go through.This is not an easy thing to do because sentiment is sitting on my shoulder!
