PARTY TIME!

Went to Ridgeview Church today still being held at Executive Plaza thanks to Sunset Funeral home. It was announced that we will go back to two services and Power hour next Sunday. Harvey and I will attend the first service as we have for many years.Pastor Mark made a statement about people bringing lawn chairs if they need them. I am glad he did. I was miserable even though I  brought a pillow. I will bring my canvas chair with me next week because it molds to my back. I miss my recliner in the baby room back at the Ridgeview building. The first service will be at 8:30. It used to be at 8:40AM. I hope Pastor Mark gets that extra 10 minutes. I like music BUT....I learn so much from Pastor Mark.The rooms are being used as nursery and other classes. Everything can be used except the sanctuary and they said it might take a year or more before we are able to use the sanctuary

After church it was PARTY TIME as we celebrated TUCKS 60th birthday at White Oak Shelter in Kennekuk County Park. If you weren't there you missed out. It was great to visit with family and also friends of long standing. Got a hug from my buddy on Facebook Troy Kester. My little great granddaughter Destanie is just adorable .(of course I am not prejudiced) Her mom made the best BBQ pork sandwiches and these old folks brought home a  couple . Got a slice of TUCKS CUBS CAKE and Evelyn promised she would have some of it in the freezer when we come over! I was so tired I took a nap as soon as I got home.
