Was it a prank or was it an accident? I opened the lid of the Cottage cheese and stirred up the contents
only to discover it was SOUR CREAM ! No big deal . I just used it to top a couple of baked potatoes.
The top of the container was very plain. It was labeled Cottage cheese. The side of the carton was plainly marked SOUR CREAM. Harvey went to the store and thy checked. None of the other cartons of either cottage cheese or sour cream was wrong. Hmmmm. Makes one ponder.

I remember for more years than I can count that we could simply open up a carton of cottage cheese, sour cream, anything like that,but in today's world, we have to be very careful about how weopen things because of simple tampering. Most things are now sealed, so you almost need a crow bar to actually open them. We have to make sure the seals are still intact, if not, maybe some one has tampered with it, and put something has been added that you could make you very unhealthy or even dead. Not a good result.
