MY "MURPHY" DAY !

This is the Valentines Greeting I put up to wish everyone a nice day. That was before MURPHYS LAW invaded my plans. Murphys law states "IF ANYTHING CAN GO WRONG IT WILL" We were going to Champaign and go to Fannie Maes and get some candy. We did. What a shocker. Harvey brought them out and we found out he bought a box of 15 chocolates for over $ 15. Then we went to Hometown Buffet knowing that it was a special day for couples who have been married over 50 years. No problem we thought. Ha...We searched all over the house for the wedding license to prove it. We couldn't find it. So off we went anyway. They were taking pictures of the couples so we had ours taken with our favorite waitress Jody who is a look alike of our daughter-in-law Beth. The manager who was taking the pictures gave us the free coupons for a return trip to Hometown even though we didn'thave our license to get the offer. Jody asked where we were seated and she told us to move to the area where she was serving. First Harvey noticed that my gravy was dripping from my potatoes on to the table. So I took a napkin and cleaned the rim of my plate and the table. Then I dripped some on my blouse and that had to be cleaned off. Harvey went to the dessert counter and while he was gone I tipped a glass filled with ice and water all over the table and onto my slacks. BRRRR.  I did the best I could to clean it all up. When Harvey came back he had four little Hershey kisses from the dessert table for me. I went to the dessert counter and Channa if you are reading this then you can guess what I picked out. Yep, CHEESECAKE....! Then we left to go to the movies at the Beverly Theater just down from HomeTown Buffet. I had been wanting to see the new TOM HANKS movie . Well, we were early so they were showing some ads and there was no sound so I went to find an employee. He told me that when the picture came on the sound would too. Well that is what happened but when we were watching we just couldn't "get into" the movie so we left and Harvey went to talk to the ticket man and he said we could choose another movie. We decided we would watch the movie "THE VOW". It was a good movie. So, maybe "ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL" beats out Murphys Law. Maybe somene can convince me of that later !
