NOW THEY CALL ME "CHESTER"

I injured my foot at Sunset Cemetery on Tuesday. When it happened I didn't think anything of it. My grandaughter said I stumbled a little going into the tent but caught myself so she didn't think much about it. Neither did I but when I started to get out of the car at the FIRST ASSEMBLY I had difficulty standing. I looked down and I was horrified at the sight. My foot was not only swollen but was several colors, black, red, purple with a bloody gash on the top. The ladies of the church made me bag of ice to keep on it. Then of course everyone kept saying, "go in and have that checked" I did not want to spend hours at the hospital so decided to just go home and ice it myself. The next day I decided to go in to the doctor and let her decide what to do. She sent me for x-rays which showed it was broken on the lower right side of my right foot. She made an appointemnt to see an orthapedic doctor for a cast. That doctor decided he did not want to put a cast on it and wanted a full leg to knee brace .I am to wear it for 4 weeks whenever I walk. At other times I am to keep it elevated. It feels like I am standing on a highly magnetic pad with a big magnet under my right foot.Greg asked "Does this mean you won't be able to bowl" I know that was a tongue in cheek response. As for my reaction; I hope Gulicks appreciates my efforts to bring in business.
