APRIL FOOL # 57

April Fool's Day # 57. You may think it is a little late for April Fools Day and you would be correct but it is not too late for an APRIL FOOLS DAY story. This year is 57 for Harvey and I. He probably wasn't thinking of the date when he asked me to marry him. I answered yes so fast that he didn't get a chance to say the traditional "APRIL FOOL". At least that is his story. Our first date was on Feb 29th so we can only observe that event every four years. We were married on Aug 17th and it took 2 ministers to do the job. His father and his brother both ordained ministers tied the knot. I think they did it with double knots. I could say it has been moonlight and roses all of the 57 years but it wouldn't be the truth. I have written blogs about this before but wanted to add a few things. First of all, our marriage cheated the US NAVY out of one good Wave. I intended to join them on my 18th birthday but met Harvey. Later I sent two sons and a foster son to Uncle Sams water oasis. I also regret since the wedding was on a small road beside the I & I steak house that one of us didn;'t stand in Indiana and the other in Illinois> when I mentioned to Harvey he said it wouldn't have been legal but I think it would have because one of the ministers was from Indiana and the other was from Illinois.
